Jake -
I have no idea.  I have previous and next EXS patch assigned to key commands
and that works fine, but I've never had the occasion to change an instrument
on a track while a song is playing.  If you're talking for example about
going from one big VSL performance instrument to another, there is a
substantial delay while it loads, hence not a great idea mid song.  Is this
what you're talking about doing?
