Actually the names are quite good descriptors, the Emperor is more aggressive, better for rock and has a bottom end growlly "rumble". The Old lady is gentler, I would prefer it for solo lyrical stuff and jazz. I would also use it in mixes to where the piano needs warmth to distance it from rhythm guitar or organ, some bright pianos can be murder to get sitting nicely. BTW I have posted an environment for download for using the sustain pedal to trigger the sampled pedal noise that comes with the old lady, but can be adapted for any EXS piano: http://www.petethomas.co.uk/logic-emagic.html Pete Thomas
