OK - thanks Andrea. This procedure seems to have fixed the main problem with the files - no more white noise. The only issue remaining is that the Release samples which are 16 bit/48kHz in the Zones but, except for two files (A0 and A1), are 24 bit/48 kHz on the disk. These files which start with letters (A0 to F6) which are sitting in the Emperor folder and due to the format difference are not found by the EXS24 upon loading - it starts by reporting that it has found the D5 file in Old Lady. I have manually associated the release group zones with the 24 bit files and that seems to have fixed this latter problem and the instrument loads correctly. Regards, Murray
