It turns out it's not as "yikes-y" as it could have been. I just updated the software from 4.7 to 4.7.2. . .and for some inexplicable reason everything is peachy keen now. I can now specify the measures to be bounced. I don't understand it either, but I'm *happy*. My froggies are now singing "Down by the old mill stream." Thanks to *everyone* for the help!
