I must confess, I bought Old Lady in the Group Buy, and thought
it was great - listening in speakers only. I never noticed this until
I saw this post, and sure enough, it's the same on my EXS24
version (16-bit version) with only the loudest velocities in the
middle for those two notes.

If the problem occurred during the recording process, I can
see why Michiel Post is reluctant to respond - how on earth 
could he set up an identical recording situation with identical
mike placement etc. just to correct two notes? OTOH if it
didn't occur during recording, then he really ought to provide
a fix.
