But how about a nice sustained passage, with many long notes, overlapping chords, pedal down, long fades. Seems to me the longer the sample and the more variations in samples per velocity, the more realism we get. Depends how much energy you want to put into the quality of your sound. It¹s a trade off for sure, but it¹s a personal choice. Why be limited, let¹s have all the options.
