Yes, there is a compatibility issue between ExsManager PC (Windows) and 
VSL performance libraries.
The problem is: when ExsManager PC (Windows) was written, VSL did not 
exist yet.
So, you won't be able to scan the performance instruments, as they 
contain some special data which we couldn't know at the time.
The VSL cube instruments will instead work correctly.

ExsManager PC (Windows) is free (has always been free), and it's not 
supported anymore, so there's no solution for this...

I know this doesn't directly interest you, but i just want to state the 
fact that ExsManager OSX is a total rewrite, it's fully supported, and 
of course has no such problems.
