That might be true for HTDM/RTAS versions (I'm native now), but in 
Logic wouldn't you be using them routed into ESB-TDM? If so, they 
will be running native just like any other AU, no?

Btw, I'd also recommend Battery 2 for drums and single-hit samples 
with individual settings.
