Sascha, there is no problem, in Logic 7 it works exactly like you describe it. I used ExsManager and it works also. Perhaps of interest for people with ExsManager: If you don't rename the samples, ExsManager will not take them and shorten the names on its own. You get an error which looks like the samples or the instrument are not working. But just believe what Sacha said and rename the files. Then everything is ok. If Andrea Gozzi is listening here: Maybe you find the time to check ExsManager with sample names longer than 31 characters? So far I have seen it does not correctly react to that. ___ Peter Ostry
