It defenitely is sample accurate - switch on "samples" in the view options and zoom in, you can see a mark each 2 samples and you'll also be able to select the samplepoint between those two. But then, there's very little help in finding looppoints or navigating around - Logics sample editor is rather ancient. Let alone you won't be able to save looppoints to a file (even if there is a function supposed to do so, IIRC), so all you can do is indeed stripping out the raw loop without any attack phrases or so. Oh, btw, you might have switched "search zero crossings" on. If you were on PC I'd recommend WaveLab - it's unbeatable. Also there's Zero-X Seamless looper, another gem for anybody into sampling. No idea about the Mac side of things, sorry. - Sascha
