This is fairly typical if you're using a lot of sample ram...for your system. I used a laptop for years and this was the way of things...don't worry...You can make great music on a laptop...but...you can finally get to where you overload the system entirely. But sounds like you're working within what you're system can do. If you get to the point where the song won't play....you can always bounce tracks or freeze tracks to relieve the load.
