Are you actually talking about bell trees, which are the vertical, 
conical series of circular bells, usually played as a fast "zing," or 
mark trees, which are the perpendicular series of suspended metal 
tubes of graduated length that are frequently used for "magical" 
transitions or fairy dust? These are often confused. In fact, I've 
even seen mark trees referred to as bell trees or even wind chimes in 
some sample libraries.
