Try opening up the Project Manager, and have it re-scan all the folders that you have designated for your samples.  Sampler Instruments & Actual sample files.

My set up is not the standard set up.  I've also got an external drive for which I've taken Alias' of the folders there and copied them into the boot drive's Sampler Instruments folder:  "BootDisk\Library\Application Support\Logic\sampler Instruments".  

There's a possiblity that your Project Manager DB file got tweaked, and needs re-building

Good Luck... Any by the way, if you have a lot of samples, I mean up to and over 100 Gig worth, the Project Manager scan can take hours.
