I'm not sure if it works with the EXS24 or Sampletank, but I know of a really good time/pitch tool which I must say works much superior to logic's (that's what I find at least). It is a plugin by Serrato called Pitch n' Time. Very excellent at slowing down a wave form without changing pitch or changing pitch without change of tempo etc. I have not noticed any degredation of sound quality and it is solid as a rock. Go check it! CHUG.
