Well unless youve got a rather old copy of the Player version of EXS, 
you cant use it in anything other than Logic..

I cant remember whether or not the original EXS was standalone, it was 
the only plugin i bought (before they released the 'Pro' upgrade a few 
months later) and Ive been using Logic for so long now I never bothered 
trying it in anything else..
