Colin means the plugin "BPM Counter" but Ingo asked about Options>>Tempo>>Tempo Interpreter. That tiny window where you can tap on somehing to generate MIDI sync errors. Ingo, if you want to tap you may want to try MidiClock which is freeware: http://www.grantedsw.com It builds a kind of buffer beteen you and Logic because it measures your taps and sends a MIDI clock out which you can use to synchronize Logic. Logic does not react as direcly as the manual claims for the Tempo Interpreter :-> but it follows the tempo reasonable good. Of course it goes much faster up than down but that is common for such stuff. And it is a bit of a mess to have another application to watch... ___ Peter Ostry
