Thanks for the pointer, I just tried MidiClock. No more sync errors in Logic, but unfortunately it doesn't do what I need: I want to tap, say, four times and have the sequencer start with the fifth tap. Thus the sequencer and my tapping are immediately in sync. Logic's tempo interpreter does this (if it would work properly). This is probably what MidiClock's "count in" is supposed to do, but I can't get it to work. The internal metronome of MidiClock starts clicking with the first tap and continues clicking after the fourth, and also changes tempo when I change the rate of my tapping. But that's all, Logic doesn't start and no MIDI clock messages appear at the MIDI output (it does both when Midi Clock's "count in" is off). Also MidiClock cannot be stopped anymore, I have to quit it. Seems like a bug to me. I'll contact the makers of MidiClock. Ingo
