But how do you mean that your audio card (Audiowerk8 and Audiomedia are audio cards, right???) could affect midi data? I mean, you're talking about the AW8's latency as the problem, but that would only affect the time lag between recording (or applying f/x to) an *audio* signal and hearing it.
