This is correct, sort of - in the Groups, there is a "override" for the amplitude ADSR, which offers bipolar (positive and negative) adjustments to the envelope segments. Put a group on every zone and you have zone level amplitude envelopes. >I wonder if Halion does ADSR per-sample... Don't want to be gleeful about HALion here, but it definitely does, with 8-stage envelopes, where you can specify how many stages the envelope is to have for ease of use. HALion has raised the bar, and I would fully expect Emagic to respond. Regarding the original question: >I've used akai samplers for years and the amp envelope is ADSR with values >0-99 it is childsplay to use. As you can see, if you have the Sustain in the globals to 100%, you can adjust it down 50%, thus you can't jam it down to 0unless you change the globals to 50%. If you think this is counter-intuitive, I'd agree completely. >I also don't like the ms decay setting. It starts from zero decay and then >opens up sloowly. Yeah, in between the lines I sense you are just looking at the Group screen, which is an adjustment of the globals. Look at the spaceship, which has most of the globals on it. If you want to see all the globals, look at the blue editor. Garth Hjelte Sampler User
