Not to be rude, but promoting Cubase and Halion, jointly, to an EXS24 users group who predominately use Logic is a bit off key, if you'll pardon the pun. A Halion note here and there seems appropriate to me, but you won't sway many Logic users to switch to Cubase (incidentally Halion works fine for me in Logic). Take this with a grain of salt; I do not intend to offend you. -Jer > From: "orgeneral" <ozancolakoglu@...> > Reply-To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com > Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2001 21:54:58 -0000 > To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [exs] Halion Solutions for some > > Hi > After having crashes with more than 2 Halions in Logic > I finally found (which seems to be the best way for now)a way to be > able to use it safely. > Maybe some of you found this earlier but anyway for others who did not > and have the stuff below here it goes. > > First of all you need Cubase(Not Joking) > And you need to use OMS > > Launch Cubase open a new Halion plugin > Launch Logic go to enviroment select update oms equivalents say yes > to create then delete all. > then create a multi instrument > select Halion from the oms list > that's it. now you can control your Halion plug in from Logic which > is in Cubase .
