I'll agree.  Burning Grooves is quite a nice disc too although it is not in
Groove Control format.  If you go to the Spectrasonics site
(www.spectrasonics.net), you can check out the backbeat demos which sound
very very good.  If I was buying right now, I would be picking up the
Backbeat disc right now.  I can confirm that Bass Legends is quite a useful
disc as well.  I use it all of the time.

For brass, it is going to cost you a bit of $$$ for a good CD Rom.  The best
one that I have heard so far has been the Quantum Leap Brass CD set.
However, I don't know how well this set converts into exs-24 format.  I
believe that there are some people here who use this set.  Maybe they can
tell you.  It will set you back anywhere from $500-650, depending on the
deal that you can get.

p.s. - I don't have any affiliation with Eric Persing or Spectrasonics.  I
just love the Spectrasonics and Ilio CD-Roms.  Some of the best sounding and
well programmed discs on the market IMHO.
