Just drag the SoundFonts into the instruments folder, but (and this is a big BUT), only the wave form data will translate. None of the mod/filter data will translate, effective ruining most synth patches. Basically, it won't help me collaborate with my Windows/Cakewalk/Cubase friends. I was deeply disappointed when I discovered this. > From: Kevin McNair <kevinmcnair@...> > Reply-To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com > Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 11:57:18 -0800 > To: <exs-users@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [exs] [GEN] SoundFont library > > A few quick format questions: There are some nice SoundFont libraries made > available by Emu/Ensoniq/CreativeLabs (http://www.soundfont.com) that are > basically drawn from Proteii samples, are downloadable, and cost $39.95 USD. > I tend to like the samples in the Proteus series.
