I just purchased the Planet Earth sounds. They came zipped in Sound Font 2
format. As per the instructions in the EXS Manual update, I placed the SF2
file in the Sample Instruments folder, opened up the EXS and selected the
file in the instrument selector menu. The EXS then automatically translated
(progress bar and all) the SF2 file into a bank folder with the instruments
inside and deposited the newly birthed, individual wav files in a folder it
also created called "SoundFont Samples" inside the Logic folder. I
subsequently moved that folder to another partition, but that's essentially
how the EXS pretty much takes care of the process all by itself.

The sounds were automatically laid out across my keyboard. Sounds which I'm
enjoying quite a bit, I might add.

Hope that helps.
