The clicks are a known problem with CDXtract. If you adjust the 
sample start to 1 from 0 the click usually goes away. A big pain with 
lots of multisamples, though.

BTW, this click does not seem to occur as much with Translator. I am 
not an advocate of either one, in fact, I bought BOTH. Each has its 
strengths and weaknesses, but both are getting better with each new 
version.

As to the moving and/or missing files, I don't have the problem, and 
I am using a shortcut for both instruments and samples. LAWP 4.7.2 is 
on C:, samples and instruments are on D:. In the Logic directory, I 
replace the instruments folder with a short cut to the instruments 
folder on D:. Same thing with the samples folder. (Can't remember the 
exact folder names, machine is at home.) The only problem I ever have 
is when I need to move samples around and Logic has to find them 
(takes maybe 10 seconds), but once it does, it doesn't need to look 
again.
