How to write keynote and loop info to samples?

2001-11-20 by marc.verhoeven@quicknet.nl

Does anybody know a solution for this:
I'm using several softwaresamplers (EXS and Reason etc). It's not possible to exchange their patches, but both are able to automap-samples.
The AIFF-format holds info about Keynote (Basenote) and Looppoints. You can set them in programs like Peak and SoundHack, but it would be very nice if you could have for instance EXS24 to write the Zone information to the Samples; would safe a lot of working converting. (and maybe have a convert samples to AIFF as an extra step)
Alternatively: something like: add Keynote to Sample-Filename would sure help too.
Any idea's? mac or windows, stuff like this can be done under VPC.
Thanks, marc
