Because it is slow in comparison to CDXtract.  Also, there are problems with
it as well.  I've found some samples which have their loop points messed up
so that there are clicks when playing through the loops yet no clicks are
heard on an Akai sampler.  BTW, I've found some where it happens with
CDXtract as well.  I haven't investigated much further into it.  I'm waiting
for Translator to be delivered in order to see if it suffers in the same way
or not.

Anyway, not that the Emagic akai converter works that poorly.  For the basic
stuff it does a good job.  However, I find it way too slow and, if it will
suffer similar problems as what I found on CDXtract, I would much rather buy
and use the faster one.
