It has some weird copy protection on it where there are two little holes in the c.d. I just assumed you couldn't copy that as it looks for that "mark" when you authorize. Hi Roger, I doubt that with such a copy protection it'd be possible to copy the CD using an of the "normal" programs - wouldn't happen to know about anything else too. I mean, I'm not like a hacker or whatever, I just stumbled over gamecopyworld when I was looking for some CD copying software. > I always like to make back-ups of the software I buy because like you I don't want to scrath it. That's another thing I don't like about c.d. authorization. I don't really like paying $150 or whatever only to get a c.d. I'm supposed to "use" on a regular basis without wear. Just out of interest, how often does Battery ask for the CD? IMO the Emagic synths ask pretty often. I also own WaveLab and it asks WAY less, so there's no problem for me to have the CD at some safe place and just take it out once in 2 or 3 months or so. If it was like that with Battery as well, maybe it's not that much trouble only having one original. Regards, Sascha
