Well...it will certainly be a great addition, but don't count on it making REX files sound better. It still comes down to how well the file is set up by the designer. Most likely, you'll get more musical results from directly loading REX2 files into the EXS, than in playing the same files from an audio track. (REX2 to EXS is supposed to be an update in Logic 5 as well). This kind of time-slice stuff works better when you have more than one voice of polyphony, and you add a bit of release. Best, EP
