As I also own HALion I must say that of course such a filter flexibility is nice to have, but boy, it can certainly make your CPU throw up. Also, what I like with the EXS is that you can clearly see your groupings, a think that HALion (as some sort of tradeoff) doesn't offer. I would however like to see a bit of improvements in the EXS filter section, there should at least be useful further modes such as highpass, bandpass and notch. That would allready make the filter way more flexible. Anyways, from a more positive point of view: The EXS filter IMO sounds pretty much better than those of the competitors (I had to compare Virtual Sampler, VolksZampler, HALion and the EXS once).
