Just a few additions based on my experience and working methods to the replies so far: 1) If you want to be creative and "play" different loops then load them in EXS24 and trigger them via the keyboard. Beware that you get diffent results depending on whether you choose the one shot parameter for you keyzones. 2) If you want to experiment with slicing up your loops and triggering each bit via midi you could start out with Logic's Remove Silence feature. It creates a small audio region for each beat (depending on the nature of the loop and the settings you choose in the Remove Silence window). If you create audio files from these regions and load them in EXS24 you will be able to "play" the loop's parts on your keyboard. Kind regards, Soren Riis-Vestergaard
