Hi Igor, I'm not the one who indexed a 25 gig drive. Mine was only a few
gigs. No, I don't notice any distinct speed increase, but it wasn't a
problem prior to indexing. My instruments load in a few seconds.

One thing that indexing is sweet for though is being able to search by
content all of my favourite saved tips from the LUG  over the past years
(and now this list). It's worth it for that alone!
