Then tell me, how did I just convert half of my akai library to EXS with CDXtract???? 3.4 is out with EXS support!!! Go get it!!!!! > This does make the process a bit long winded for a > Mac user as CD Extract is a PC prog and requires that you run Virtual PC and > then transfer everything accross. True indeed. :-( > But if this guy can code it on his own why can't the Emagic team code it? > I just don't get it. Well, let's say his program is around for some years, and it started out buggy in the beginning as well, I guess.... I'm sure Emagic will get their act together on this, but there's still some work to be done. In the meanwhile, I preferred being productive with my Akai libraries and converted a lot of them already with CDXtract (and now I need an extra harddisk 'cause the "sample disk" is full.... :-) Just went to cdxtract.com and just read the first page: EXS support!!!! You'll love it! I see there's another update already. > Further more why do Emagic state on their site that > they support Akai S1000 and S3000 format when this is untrue. They do, although it might be a bit buggy here and there... and the rest is marketing? ;-))) > Also note that > since its release their have been no other additions to the compatibility > list nor have they bothered to update that tired old page. I'm sure they're working on it, but don't forget that Logic is more than Akai conversion, so they probably can't release update as fast as cdxtract can. Bye, Joeri -- Joeri Vankeirsbilck joeri@...
