EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Yesterday I tried to make a guitar patch with one sample with portamento
glide settings, but it retriggers the sample on each sequenced note. This
works perfectly fine on the ES1, but apparently not on the EXS24 and other
VST instruments. From what I can tell, it's transmitting the pitch-slide
instructions at the same time it sends new note on-triggers for each
sequenced note, when all it should do is send the pitch glide commands,
provided my sequenced notes overlap. I did configure the instrument for one
voice only with the portamento setting "on" and a healthy glide setting. I'd
appreciate any feedback from other people who have tried to configure
similar programming and have insight into this problem.
