Yes, indeed Steinberg Pro24 was the first sequencer for C64. Around 1986 Pro24 became available for the atari 1040St (that's where i jumped in) and then was succeeded by Cubase Atari which appeared around 1989/1990. I think the very first sequencer program(s)for a computer, where released for the Apple II (Herbie Hancock used it in the early 80s). But I can't remember any names.
