Although it is a very useful application, the mp3 encoding is not useful for professional work in my opinion. My mixes sounds totally different in itunes. Even converting at 320 kbps gives you a bassboost and it does something weird with the stereo image. For some reason it appears to "boost" up the amount of reverb if you A/B test it with you master wave/aiff file. At least, that's what I experience.... I'm going for Spark. (I know, it's not exactly free....) BTW, I think SoundJam sounds better than itunes. At least 2.6. For some reason I lost my 2.6 version and installed 2.5 or something and that didn't sound half of 2.6. My 2 cents....
