I strongly disagree. There is no excuse for losing your ability for
triggering a sample just because you trimmed the WAV or AIFF. My ASR-10
never put me through that crap. Now I love the EXS24, but I think it's
ridiculous for me to have to take this for granted. It's a serious flaw in
work flow efficiency. Also, I didn't state that it affects the other
instruments of the same name. I said that you had to close/change every
other one to be able to trigger the sample in the first one.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
