There has been substantial discussion on Soundfonts on this list. In short, they are a single file containing a group of samples, keymapping and filter data information, all rolled into one, for use in Cakewalk and a few other programs. There's tons of soundfonts available on the net, so it is helpful to be able to convert them accurately. Translator (www.chickensys.com) does the most comprehensive conversion to other formats. For more insight into the conversion of Soundfonts for use in the EXS24, I suggest you search "soundfont" in this forum's archives at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/exs-users/ -Jer > From: tvp <aps@...> > Reply-To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com > Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2002 19:10:42 +0000 > To: <exs-users@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [exs] Re:[LAGW 4.8.1] Soundfont problem > > what's a soundfont?? > >> From: exs-users@yahoogroups.com >> Reply-To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com >> Date: 12 Mar 2002 09:58:18 -0000 >> To: exs-users@yahoogroups.com >> Subject: [exs] Digest Number 506 >> >> [LAGW 4.8.1] Soundfont problem > > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > exs-users-unsubscribe@egroups.com > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
