I'm also waiting for this upgrade. As you say, it's an extremely important
parameter.

Also, why are non-standard controllers used for basic operations, like
cutoff for example? I know it's esentially a plugin so the controller
numbers are set in a special way, but it's an instrument and should be
controlled like one, no?
