He talked about where the EXS24 is heading -- eg toward possible Gigastudio format compatability perhaps and Roland format compatibility. At one point he flipped open the extras editor for parameters at the bottom of the EXS GUI and there were like 40 parameters instead of the 8 or 10 in 4.8. He said we might get a second page of the GUI or something. Things like velocity crossfading and switching were part of the revamp of EXS as was improving the editor. He also mentioned better access to rapidly stepping through patches --eg declare a "Performance" directory and have the option of stepping with the up and down arrows through the patches there. Hopefully we'll see these enhancements in 5.2 or perhaps later in the year. The EXS24 is such a great tool I really hope they make building instruments and auditioning patches easier. Regards, Murray
