E.g. if there's a famous $500+ sample CD out there that has great string samples but they each are in their own separate instrument, it's perfectly legal for one of us to build uber-patches combining several articluations etc and distribute the tweaked .exs file... right? (of course this would be more useful once there are velocity sensitive crossfades again) Someone else would actually have to buy/convert the actual sample CD to make use of the .exs instrument (unless they just wanted to use the GUI settings with a different instrument or something)... It seems like this would be legal to me? Just making sure, Jeremy
