Most important thing to realize is that sampling any sound recording and 
rereleasing it without a valid license from the copyright holder is what will 
get you into trouble. It isn't a matter of just crediting the sources.

That way the law protects everyone.

But yes, if a someone sampled a portion of a track that has a sample of 
someone else's recording, they would have to obtain a license from both 
parties.
