thanks for that. i'd still like to know: if i used a ligit spectrasonics 
selection and subsequently someone else used my work 
containing those samples would spectrasonics have a valid 
case against me?

on a more upbeat note (yikes, 8.30 am and im punning!) i just 
ordered stylus! yay, its out....one thing ive wondered about these 
new instruments (no doubt i'll find out when it arrives) is how the 
groove control works with them in terms of how to get the midi 
info on a track, do they automatically create the midi slices and 
place them on the track or is it like the exisiting method of 
dragging a file?
