You can instanciate (?) an EXS sampler on either a TDM or DTDM object. Latency is probably better on TDM? That is at least how we use it and it works pretty good. I posted this q on another group and got a reply which concluded that the "hi-end" native stuff is all going towards HTDM. Meaning it's using native power but is also inserted on a tdm timeslot which means you are not limited to the 8 DC buses. ...learning as I go along...old hat sequender guy as I am...;-) been sequesning since the early Roland days but this is my first serious stab at the native stuff...Logic 5 is the key to being interested in this stuff again...the automation rocks! best jtm
