That doesnt mean that it is recorded without latency though.
Alesis Adat edit is sample accurate but has 20ms of latency.
All sample accurate means is that the audio is laid down (but not necessarily monitored) with sample accuracy.

PT Mix, I have been told, has latency of 1 sample across all input channels. Just wondering of the virtual instruments instantiated using Mix hardware has the same latency.
