What a beast > that thing! -Jer Mmmmmm... Imagining my computer completely filled with PowerCores... If only I could just write Bill Gates and convince him to give me .000004% of his total wealth, and not have to work very hard for the next couple years to get everything I currently want. :-) This is definitely getting OT, but with all of the various Gurus that inhabit this list with access to tons of gear, this is probably the best place to ask this question: With all of the software synths out there these days, what types of hardware synths are still worth buying? E.g. what hardware synths don't have an equal-or-superior software emulation? Specifically I would like to create very 'alien' sounding sounds. Not harsh metal-scraping-ear-blistering 'alien' sounds.. nice cute little friendly alien sounds, e.g. those found in a lot of of Aphex Twin songs. :-)
