I've never heard a softsynth do K5000 textures. Maybe Absynth or Reaktor might???? As for the Prophet, the soft version (Native instruments) doesn't come close. I've still got my ASR10 sampler for 2 reasons. I have a big library which I guess I'll eventually convert to EXS using Translator for Mac (Is it out yet?) and the other reason is that the ASR's Effect algorithms are excellent and nothing else comes close to some of those sounds.... I've still got my Yamaha RM50 mainly because it has good audio to midi triggers. -- ==/==/==/==/==/==/==/==/== Paul Najar Jaminajar Music Production http://www.jaminajar.com.au
