So the question for me is *how* that thing works (sorry, I'm still on a 56k connect so I won't bother with the 20MB movie download). There's nothing better than some real "hands on" experience (unfortunately I couldn't visit any of your demos over here, would've liked to say hi and see those things...), so, will there be a demo version? > I've always been a Mac guy, and I have to say that I was pretty stunned at > how many more virtual instruments you can use on a moderate Windows > system...it's double or more!! > Dang....guess it's time to start using a PC.... Ah well... I hope this won't start another platform war (I have been through too much of them), but now that PCs have become pretty much stable if you configure them properly (but then, even the "Joe Average" PC doesn't seem to be as bad anymore), there's no other choice if you want raw processing power. Macs simply can't compete with the power that, say, a 2100+ XP delivers. Sure, there's rumours about newer and faster Macs, but from what I know they are quite delayed... and hm, I wouldn't expect them to be exactly cheap, over here you should be getting 2-3 top notch PCs for the price of one new Mac (unless it's a Big Mac... HAHAHA, what a great joke... uhm). Cheers, Sascha
