Oh well, maybe... but I was just talking about processing power, and
regarding that these are indeed facts (I actually know quite some people
that are thinking about a platform switch just because of it - at least many
of them seem to plan on getting a PC in addition to run softynths and the
likes on it, once there's a reliable VST/VSTi host).
I certainly know about the advances of a Mac system, and I would give a lot
if I could for example get rid of all that bloated M$ crap, but going the
all native route for my own stuff there's not much chance I could do so. I
mean, if I were rich I would *eventually* think about getting a Mac in
addition, and be it for the joy of dealing with a slick OS alone - but I am
not, so I will just build me another PC in the next weeks.
I am actually thinking seriously about getting some Mac laptop one day,
these are still better than PC laptops, especially when it comes to the
internal audio card which you can actually use to play virtual instruments -
no chance on any PC laptop unless you invest in an extra audio interface - I
have an EMI 2|6 allready, but I was just amazed when I was jamming with some
keyboarder last week, he just had his powerbook and some USB keyboard, that
was like the fastest setup ever, two cables and there you go!
Anyways, this is going to be too much OT and believe me, I really don't care
which machines and platforms people are using and I'm nothing like an "you
need to buy a PC" advocate either - so I better stop now.

Thanks for the flowers *blush*.
