Well, I don't know about the quality you're looking for, but I can just tell you NOT to buy any M-Audio USB keyboard. I had to demo Logic for one week, and because of the small space I had to use their Oxygen8 - whatta crappy thing! After two days the pitchbender wasn't working properly anymore, their drivers constantly crashed (I was using a PC, but anyways...) and the pitchbender even used some weird datathinning, so any bending range above the usual wholetone was just resulting in steppy sounds. I think the Roland USB keyboards are not bad, at least they have reasonable keys. Then there's the Evolution ones, but I only know the cheap models which I wouldn't recommend either, maybe their latest top models are better. And RE the USB hub: Time to get the new EMI 6|2 perhaps... it comes with two additional USB slots, you can switch the S/PDIF I/O to MIDI I/O (what a nice idea!), and you could even use it as a mixer for external stuff, hardware monitoring with Logic only handling the volumes seems to work brilliant with the EMIs. Not to forget the fact that with 6 ins one can at least achieve reasonable results when reording drums for demos and the likes. Regards, Sascha
