Isn't the VS pocket's latency really bad....when I > tried it a long time ago it was useless for really time playing. > > We've got an EMI setup with one of our beta testers, who is using it OK I > think...not sure what the problem is. yep, surprised me too. i gave up on the vx as soon as the emi came out. there's still latency of course, but it's way closer than it was, i loaded some super tight drums into my exs and it's hanging together ok feel-wise when im grooving away on the keyboard. the sample buffer hasnt changed so i assume it's what it says it is - 252 samples at the lowest setting. still, it sure feels a lot tighter. as for the emi - i spent hours going through the extensions manager with a fine tooth comb, it's as minimal as i can get purely to work with logic, and i'm only using emagic software, no 3rd party plugs in the vst folder (bar stylus of course) and no unrelated software active. so........errrr.....umm......ahh.......dead end here. silver lining time though...i can tweak stylus :-) thanks, andy
